Our Mission
High Valley Community Resilience (HVCR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to reach-wide habitat restoration and community resilience along the Cowlitz River corridor in Packwood, WA. We work to move from reactive emergency flood response to long-term solutions that protect our community and restore the river.
Get Involved
We are always welcoming new faces. Whether you have boots on the ground to spare—helping with levee monitoring, community events, or hands-on restoration—or you bring specialty skills, there is a place for you.
We especially welcome volunteers with experience in:
- Grant writing and fundraising
- Finance and nonprofit accounting
- Event planning and community outreach
- Project management and coordination
- Communications and outreach
No experience is required to reach out. If you care about Packwood and the High Valley community, we want to connect.
